Earlier this year, Lexmark unveiled its new line of A3 colour laser printers and smart MFPs designed to provide fast, secure and efficient imaging services.
In June 2017, The Recycler reported on the launch of Lexmark’s new range of A3 colour printers and MFPs, consisting of nine new models tailored to meet the needs of the most demanding workgroups.
Now the OEM has released a video detailing the product features of this new line of printers, presented by Eric Wallin, Lexmark’s Global Product Marketing Manager.
In the video, Wallin describes the printers as “very different” from their prior series and explains that they range in speed from 35-55ppm, with the 55ppm model coming with double 500 sheet trays as well as two optional 500 sheet trays. Other features can be purchased separately.
He goes on to explain that different models and configurations can be combined if required.
Some of the new features included in these printers range from a very accessible paper path, new high-resolution videos that show which doors are open and where to clear a paper jam, and a new inductive heat fuser which yields up to 720, 000 pages.
The new induction heat technology is low on electricity, leading to low Typical Energy Consumption Values. In addition, the devices support recycled paper and are Energy Star, Blue Angel and EPEAT Gold Certified.
This new line of printers has the highest paper capacity at 6, 650 sheets and the paper feed capacity and reliability are “exceptional”.
