The remanufacturer and retailer advised the best printers to use with its cartridges.
The company advised customers that OEM cartridges are expensive and that they can eventually outprice the printer. LD said that a cost-effective way to print is to choose “compatible ink” from a reliable source, and recommended printers for its compatible inkjet and toner cartridges. The first recommendation was the Brother MFC-L2740DW, which it recommends to use with its compatible black TN660 toner cartridge, and which has a toner saver and automatic duplex printing.
Second on the list was the HP Inc Photosmart 6520, which it recommends to use with its compatible 564XL series that includes five separate inkjet cartridges. The printer has “lab quality prints” and photos are vivid and quality. The third recommendation was the Canon Pixma MX-922, and LD Products recommended using its compatible black and colour PGI-250XL/CLI-251XL cartridges. The first uses pigment-based ink for printing text, while the latter uses dye-based ink for photo printing. Both black cartridges are required to operate the printer.
Lastly, LD recommended using its compatible HP Inc 85A toner cartridge in the HP Inc LaserJet Pro P1102W, noting that the printer is easy to install, giving even coverage throughout its life, and adding that for the price of one original cartridge you can get three LD ones. The HP Inc LaserJet Pro P1102W, the company noted, is designed for the home user and is compact and easy to use.
