Kyocera Document Solutions UK has been selected as supplier in public sector framework. Joining the YPO framework enables Kyocera’s hardware and software solutions to be accessed by wide range of public sector organisations.
Kyocera Document Solutions UK annoucned in December 2019, that it has been selected as a supplier for four categories in the YPO Technology Hardware, Software and Services framework.
YPO runs approximately 100 nationwide frameworks, which all have the objective of providing procurement solutions for public sector organisations and helping them set up or negotiate contracts for a wide range of services. It does this by working closely with leading UK suppliers, such as Kyocera, and collaborating with other public sector buying organisations.
The YPO Technology Hardware, Software and Services framework is valued at up to £200 million ($260 million/ €233 million) and is dedicated to the provisions of software, hardware and associated services, from the supply of ICT equipment and applications right through to secure hardware asset destruction. The framework is divided into eight lots, of which Kyocera has been selected as a supplier for four: Supply of Hardware, Software Applications, Hardware and Software and Anything as a Service (XaaS).
The nationwide framework will initially run until 30 September 2021, with the opportunity to extend until September 2023.
Commenting on Kyocera’s selection, Rod Tonna-Barthet, CEO at Kyocera Document Solutions UK said: “We’re delighted to have been successful in securing our inclusion on the YPO Hardware, Software and Solutions framework. This is great news for Kyocera, and our customers and compliments and our wider efforts to make high-quality office hardware and software available to a broader range of public sector bodies as well as allowing our existing Public Sector clients to benefit from broadening the services they take from us.
“The public sector is under ever-increasing pressure to do more with less, so procuring the right products and services from a reduced number of vendors is absolutely vital. Whether it be hardware, software or multi-functional devices, we ensure that quality, cost-effectiveness, durability, sustainability and efficiency are at the heart of everything we offer. We’re looking forward to engaging with a number of new public sector partners as part of this framework as well as working with existing clients and helping them streamline their processes and provide an improved experience on what matters most to the public.”
