The OEM has introduced two new MFPs in the TASKalfa series.
In a press release, Kyocera Document Solutions America announced two new models, the TASKalfa 8052ci colour and the TASKalfa 8002i mono. Both are high speed models and feature 1,200 x 1,200dpi resolution, with print speeds of up to 80 ppm. The models have wireless connectivity with WiFi-Direct and NFC (near-field communication) for Android devices, as well as being HyPAS-enabled with “ready to run” Apple AirPrint, Google Cloud Print, Kyocera Mobile Print and over 60 other business applications.
Both models have a nine-inch, 90-degree tilt LED screen and can scan 220 images per minute using the 270-sheet dual scan document processor, with an OCR able to change these to PDFs. The printers are fitted with Kyocera Fleet Services (KFS), enabling authorised dealers to manage maintenance jobs for customers, and anticipate problems and deal with them before they happen, as well as updating firmware.
Douglas Cole, Director of Product Marketing in the Corporate Marketing Group for Kyocera Document Solutions America, said: “At Kyocera, we’re proud to deliver the features our most demanding customers are asking for. Both of these series do just that, while also delivering exceptional value. The features we’ve included are designed to drive more efficient workflow and therefore greater productivity. We’re confident they will exceed our customers’ highest expectations.”
