Kyocera launches £1 million Manchester branch

Manchester Evening News reports on the opening of Kyocera’s new branch in Manchester after the company invested £1 million ($1.49 million/€1.16 million) in the site, marking 25 years of business.A launch event took place at the new branch, attended by Simon Woodroffe OBE and founder of restaurant chain YO! Sushi, who “shared his entrepreneurial story”.

Commenting on the branch’s launch, Peter Lunn, Northern Manager for Kyocera Document Solutions UK, said: “We are delighted to be celebrating our 25th anniversary here in Manchester with the launch of our new technology suite. We have listened to our partners and we see a real opportunity for growth in this region. It is an exciting time for Manchester and we wanted to show our belief in the city by locating our northern base here.”

The Recycler reported on Kyocera’s expansion in the UK in March, including its plans for the new Manchester location in Chancery Place and a further location in Reading.
