Kyocera Document Solutions celebrates 25 years in the UK

Chancery PlaceUK-based document solutions company continues to expand during 25th year in business.

Kyocera Document Solutions UK Ltd. has announced that it will be celebrating a quarter of a century of being in business this year, with the company opening a new Northern Showroom in Manchester’s city centre as well as relocating its UK head office to central Reading.

The company’s new location in Manchester is said to be on the ground floor of one of the city’s “most prestigious” office buildings, Chancery Place, and will include a showroom, product demonstration suites, meeting rooms and Kyocera’s first northern sales office. In addition, a mezzanine floor is also due to be installed which will utilise over 4,000 square feet of the building and will open in July 2013.

The new location in Reading will see the addition of new office areas, meeting rooms and training facilities over three floors, which the company hopes will support its plans for growth. It will also provide its partners with a large customer demonstration area, training rooms and hot-desking facilities.

Commenting on the company’s new locations, Nigel Allen, Marketing Director at Kyocera Document Solutions UK Ltd., said: “We are a very different size and shape organisation to the one that was present even five years ago. We’ve grown organically 77 percent in the last three years and needed the space and infrastructure that could accommodate our phenomenal growth.

“We are 100 percent indirect and this investment in Manchester and Reading will further support our partners. We are committed to the communities where we are located (Reading, London and Milton Keynes) and KYOCERA will be celebrating its 25th anniversary with a year-long programme of community focused projects and events throughout 2013.”
