The ISC’s next event, subtitled as An Industry in Transition, will focus on “counterfeiting and fraud in the imaging supplies industry”, and the association stated in a press release that “we look forward to your participation at the conference as we discuss key brand protection issues facing all of us”. It also noted that “there is no better way to meet with the brand protection executives of the major companies in the imaging supplies industry”, with ISC members including Brother, Canon, Epson, HP Inc, Lexmark, Samsung and Xerox.
In further detail, the ISC noted that the imaging supplies industry “is experiencing a period of rapid transition”, with this sixteenth event aiming to “provide a clear review of the factors driving this”, as well as to “map an approach to protecting brands, customers and reputations during this period of rapid change”. Beginning the event will be a presentation on the “pace of technology change”, while concluding presentations will discuss “change in the IPR environments in Brazil and the PRC”.
Other talks will be presentations on online brand protection, touching on subjects including the dark web, social media and “case studies involving ISC member companies”. The ISC concluded that “every presenter has experience and expertise in showing leaders how to protect their brand”, while an optional seminar from Actionable Intelligence will be available after the conference.
