INX Digital has announced that it will be focusing on the introduction of its TRIANGLE EDX and JVV brand of wide-format inks at the upcoming Specialty Graphics Imaging Association (SGIA) Expo event in Las Vegas, with the company planning to demonstrate both inks using Roland VersaCAMM and Mimaki JV33 wide-format printers.
The company, which manufactures inks for wide-format and super-wide devices as well as supplying printer parts, also plans to promote its UV Curable inks that run on HP printers and will demonstrate its print head cleaning operation, with representatives from North America, Latin America and the Asian Pacific due to attend.
The TRIANGLE EDX ink was first introduced in 2010 as the first to offer a colour and chemically compatible ECO product for the alternative market and is claimed to be 30 to 50 percent lower in cost that OEM wide-format inks, as well as being fast-drying with a low odour.
Meanwhile, the JVV series of inkjet ink boasts a UV light resistant pigment and has “an excellent adhesion” to a variety of substrates. Both inks are also backed by INX Digital’s Worldwide Outdoor Durability and Ink Train warranty.
Ken Kisner, President of INX Digital, remarked that the company hoped that the development of the inks would provide customers with high quality, environmentally friendly products that are safer to use, and reflected on the inks’ success: “The response from the marketplace for our TRIANGLE branded inks has been impressive for quite a long time. I thought EDX would be a hit but never imagined it would be as successful as it is today.”
