Wide-Format Online reports the release of Inprinta’s new filter for both solvent and UV ink applications within the market.
Microprint capsules are manufactured using “standard polymetric filter media”, with a Vyon core adding strength and acting as a secondary filter. According to the article, this results in “excellent particle retention, high throughput and low pressure drop across the filter path”.
The Microprint capsule filters come with CPC connectors to enable use across a variety if printer platforms, and all capsules are pressure tested to run at 6 barg pressure operating at temperatures between 0 and 50 degrees Celsius. They are available in a range of micron ratings of between 0.5 and 60 microns.
Simon Linney, Market Manager at Inprinta commented: “A number of successful trials earlier in the year allowed us to commence with the scheduled launch and we are seeing a lot of interest and good early sales.”
Inprinta manufacture and supply filters, spare parts and inks for a variety of Continuous Inkjet (CIJ) and high resolution inkjet equipment. For further information visit www.inprinta.com
