ILG reveals toner technology and new products

October 12, 2011

The supplier and manufacturer has launched Fusion Plus to improve toner adhesion, and a new alternative cartridge for HP printers.

The company states that Fusion Plus is “a proprietary new imaging system that enhances the print quality” of high speed printers, and which also “virtually eliminates any potential toner adhesion problems with coated papers” used in these devices.

The technology will make its first appearance in alternative replacements for the CC364A, CC364X and CC364XX JUMBO cartridges, which are intended for use in the HP LaserJet P4014, P4015 and P4515 ultra-high speed printers.

The company stated that it recognized that “some of the aftermarket cartridge offerings fell short of high-demand user expectations” particularly in terms of printing on special medias, coated papers and envelopes. Benefits reportedly include “excellent print quality” and age and extension of “printer fuser life”.

The company also launched the CE390X alternative toner cartridge for use in the HP M4555,M4555f, M4555h and M4555fskm printer series.

The monochrome cartridge offers a 24,000 page yield, and ILG states it “is proud to be the first-to-market with this high demand product”. The cartridge also features the company’s MPS Certified cartridge certification for optimum use in MPS programs.
