Both companies announced the integration, which will see a private supply network (PSN) integration take place with ECI’s e-automate software “for dealers who provide technology services and office equipment”. Through the PSN, ILG’s products “can now be easily accessed directly”, which it notes “unif[ies] the purchasing process from order placement through invoicing”.
Last month, ECI announced integration with two other companies, Arlington Industries and Carolina Wholesale, and the ILG deal essentially allows e-automate dealers to place orders with ILG “without ever leaving their e-automate system”, which should help to create a “seamless purchasing experience”. ILG added that its “large product mix of supplies” will be fully accessible to dealers through the integration.
