HP sends through more firmware updates

December 7, 2022

The Recycler has learned that the most recent firmware updates by HP affect devices using the W2030A/X and the 59A and 59X cartridge series.

Our readers continue to advise customers to not upgrade the printer firmware to avoid cartridges not being recognised and to also turn off the printer auto-update feature.

One of the latest messages we received informed about a new firmware update by HP which affects devices using the W2030A/X series cartridges and 59A and 59X cartridges. These latest firmware updates again block aftermarket chips until these are recoded.

Have you been affected by this firmware update? If so, please let us know you can email us at news@therecycler.com.
