HP India has announced the launch of a new range of Laserjet single function and all-in-one printers for SOHOs and SMBs, designed to enable cost-conscious operations the opportunity to print professional quality documents, reports India Infoline.
Included in the line-up is the HP Laserjet Pro P1108, claimed to be “the world’s most energy efficient laser printer”. It utilises auto on/off technology which HP claim means the intelligent energy-efficient technology means “up to three times less energy usage” and claims a single cartridge of toner will print up to 1,500 pages, saving on cost.
The device also employs HP Smart Web Printing, which “dramatically cuts down on paper wastage” by automatically scaling the requested web page output to fit the width of the paper.

These are affordable, space and cost-saving devices that are specifically designed for SOHOs and SMB customer, and offer professional quality printing at dramatically reduced energy consumption

Other models announced include the HP Laserjet Pro Color MFP M175nw, HP’s smallest ePrint-enabled MFP; the Laserjet Enterprise 500 color M551 series – M551dn, touted as ideal for enterprise and small business teams; the Laserjet Pro M1536dnf, a cost-effective option; the Laserjet Enterprise M4555 MFP series – 4555H, an Energy Star qualified MFP; and the Laserjet Pro CP1025 Colour Printer, among the first set of printers awarded the Bureau of Energy Efficiency label in India.
