October 11, 2012

The two new LaserJet devices are aimed at small and medium businesses (SMBs) in the African nation.

The two devices, the LaserJet Pro 200 colour M251 and MFP M276, have been launched in the country due to new built-in management features, which, coupled with their “affordable cost” can create “professional, quality colour documents” for SMBs.

Both devices are said to be “assets to any SMB looking for a desktop printer to produce documents in brilliant colour for client or internal use”, with easy-to-use features including touchscreens and USB ports helping to “provide immediate access to print jobs”.

The two devices also have fast print speeds as well as automatic wireless connection with HP’s Auto Wireless connection software, according to This Day Live.

The OEM added: “The HP LaserJet Pro 200 colour MFP M276 series streamlines paper-based tasks with built-in print, scan, copy and fax functionality, creating direct from the device’s colour touchscreen or the walk-up USB port. Also, by scanning and saving documents to their network or email, users are given quick access to materials that are securely stored in the cloud.”

The OEM added: “Both devices increase overall office productivity and efficiency with features including HP Business Applications, which allow users direct access to web-content using the touchscreen display; HP ePrint, for on-the-go printing from virtually anywhere; and Wireless Direct, for direct printing from Wi-Fi enabled mobile devices.

“HP customer-focused innovations such as HP Smart Install provide easy set up without the need for a CD, and Auto-On/Auto-Off, keeps energy costs low.”
