The OEM’s Instant Ink replacement service consists of four different plans, one of which is free.
HP’s Instant Ink service works via automatic updates from a consumer’s printer, which alerts HP when the ink cartridge is running low, prompting the OEM to deliver HP Original Ink to the customer’s door. Cartridge recycling and shipping are included in the service.
The service consists of four different plans for customers to choose from dependent on how many pages they print each month, and includes the option to rollover unused pages to the next month or buy more pages for just a few pence.
The first printing plan is free, allowing users to print up to 15 pages a month without spending a penny, with each additional set of 10 pages after that costing £1.
