A new range of cloud-enabled MFPs has been launched by HP India, reports Think Digit, with SMBs being the main target customers.
The range of printers includes the HP LaserJet Enterprise Flow 500 MFP M525c and HP LaserJet Enterprise Color Flow MFP M575c, which reportedly offer “improved document processing and sharing”. They are also able to transform paper back into digital content.
Other key features of the devices include premium scanning and data entry with single-pass duplex scanning, a pull-out keyboard for meta-data tagging, on-board Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to digitise scanned documents and HP EveryPage technology with “ultrasonic double-feed detection”.
Nitin Hiranandani, Director-Printing at PPS for HP India, commented: “With cloud-led business processes, document management is taking centre stage. Our customers need innovative technology tailored to their workflow that is simple, effective and helps them conduct business.”
