Financial Express reported on the launch of 33 printers in one day, with 17 launched in the A4 segment and 16 in A3. The OEM is a “market leader” in the country’s A4 printer segment, with a 40 percent share worldwide, and the site added that “some of the newly launch[ed] single and multiple function” A4 machines were released in the LaserJet and Scanjet series, with a range featuring “in-built sensors to analyse the different functionalities of the printer” for service requirements.
Subin Joseph, Head of Printing Solutions for the Asia Pacific at HP Inc, commented that the launch was “significant for HP because we are the leader in [the] A4 printer segment with market share of 44 percent, and it is continuously growing year-on-year, but in [the] A3 copier segment, we only hold five percent in a $55 billion (€50.5 billion) market, so there is a huge opportunity for us to grow”.
The Recycler reported last week that the OEM had launched LaserJet A3 MFPs in the market, which were said to be cost-effective, and along with mobile printing will help SMBs across the country.
