Visions & Trends has reported on HP’s announced expansion of its business inkjet portfolio including the launch of its Officejet Pro X series as previously reported on by The Recycler.

The range is angled at competing with laser devices in the office market, claiming to offer a quieter alternative with high-speed printing.

HP has stated that the new line “can revolutionise the way growing organisations and small work teams in branch or remote offices increase productivity and cut costs.”

The OEM has recently claimed that it was misled into its purchase of Autonomy, severely overvaluing the company but has stated that it remains “100 percent committed to Autonomy and its industry-leading technology”. However shareholders have recently begun suing directors and auditors over misrepresentation of information with regards to the sale including current CEO Meg Whitman and former CEO Leo Apotheker.
