GPI exhibiting at Paperworld 2018

December 21, 2017

The Taiwanese company will begin its 40th year in business with an appearance in Frankfurt.

The Paperworld 2018 show, including the Remanexpo product group, is fast approaching: The show takes place in Frankfurt, Germany, from the 27th to the 30th of January, and with just over a month still to go, interest and excitement continues to build, with over 120 exhibitors confirmed. There is still time to register as a visitor, by clicking here.

In 2017, Paperworld welcomed 1,525 exhibitors, alongside more than 33,000 visitors from over 140 different countries. Hosts Messe Frankfurt commented on the “many new international customers” whilst praising the show’s atmosphere, also highlighting the “numerous new developments and innovations” on display, whilst visitors left “extremely satisfied with the many new contacts they made.”

The Taiwanese company General Plastic Industrial will be present in Frankfurt, exhibiting at Booth D44. Since 1978, GPI have specialised in the design and manufacture of copier laser cartridges, laser printer cartridges and OPC drum gears, and in 2008 created the Cartridge Web brand. Cartridge Web is devoted to in-depth research in product function engineering, patent avoidance, and quality control study prior to products reaching the market.

GPI’s appearance at Paperworld in January comes after a year in which they have agreed to acquire fellow industry stalwart Katun, with the deal to buy the company from Monomoy Capital Partners being announced in October. Katun’s CEO and President, Robert Moore, speaking at the time, said his company were “very excited to become part of the GPI organization and to begin the next chapter in our company’s history, having worked closely with GPI for well over a decade.”
