For World Penguin Day, G&G is launching a social media campaign on LinkedIn.
Everyone on LinkedIn can help rescue these adorable and rare creatures by simply following G&G Image Global. G&G will donate US$5 (€4.54) to support the WWF Penguin Conservation Programme for every new follower on their behalf.
Those who use LinkedIn can also appeal to their contacts to help the penguins too. By taking a few simple steps to “like”, “comment” and “share” the G&G penguins saving campaign post, they can make a difference as well. They also will enter a free lucky draw and could win an exclusive surprise gift as well, G&G added.
G&G is using World Penguin Day to alert the global business community that these lovely, flightless birds in the Southern Hemisphere are facing dangers from melting ice caps and more. Then well-known printer and supplies brand, which has used penguins as its mascot for more than 20 years, is calling for help for the penguins.
G&G has used the Emperor Penguin as the symbol of G&G brand since 2003, when G&G leaders witnessed the impact of climate change upon the emperor penguin firsthand. They noted the similarity of the struggle of these flightless and intelligent birds to what the many businesses experience in order to survive. Caring for penguins has also become an environmental responsibility too.
G&G said: “Business people are sincerely invited to join the G&G penguin-saving campaign. “Many a little makes a mickle,” is an age-old saying dating back to 1614 but the concept is as fresh as 2023: let’s all join together to make a difference for the penguins!”
