Yesterday’s events, including the ETIRA General Assembly, UKCRA’s Committee Meeting and a debate on clones and compatibles, lead into the busy agenda today, which incorporates a number of keynote speeches by industry representatives.
The Recycler’s Publisher David Connett and UKCRA Chairman Keith Moss are opening today’s talks with welcome addresses, followed by Peter Mayhew, of industry analysts Lyra, discussing the market and giving his insights on the industry.
Mark Dawson of MSE Europe will next discuss the colour laser market in Europe, before David Connett leads discussions on cartridge perspectives, including the OEM, the remanufacturer, the collector, and Clover’s string of acquisitions.
Static Control’s Ken Lalley will discuss investment in business and what best to do, before a three part panel on Managed Print Servies is led after lunch by Connett.
Ove Jansson of the Nordic Eco-Label will talk about the marketing of sustainable toners in Scandanavia, whilst Philippe Guenin of LVL will follow that with discussion of product life cycle assessment in France.
After an afternoon coffee, the final part of the day will begin with an interview with the Int’l ITC (Imaging Trade Council) ‘s Tricia Judge, before a talk on channel marketing, before a discussion panel on clones, and whether they are legal for remanufacturing, which will round off the 2011 conference.
