Donation raised through “recycling4smile” programme.
Cartridge remanufacturer Embatex AG has announced the donation of €87,821 ($115,221) for European charity RED NOSES Clowndoctors International. The charity, under the umbrella company RED NOSES group, aims to combat emotional and psychological stress from serious injury, hospital stays and painful therapy utilising humour.
Embatex AG has supported RED NOSES Clowndoctors International since 2003, with six substantial donations stemming from the company’s “recycling4smile” programme. The programme provides businesses and public and education institutes a free collection service for used ink and toner cartridges.
Every cartridge retrieved in this manner produces a donation of €1 ($1.30), with the collection from 2011 amounting to €87,821. This will towards supporting RED NOSES International’s activities in seven European countries and New Zealand.
