ECi reported its integration agreement with TonerCycle/InkCycle, whereby ECi’s subsidiary, Digital Gateway, will synchronise with the remanufacturer to provide customers with the company’s remanufactured ink and toner cartridges.
Digital Gateway’s e-automate P.O Processor application will allow users to “seamlessly order ink and toner” cartridges, with ECi stating that the two companies are “committed to optimising service delivery across the industry by efficiently connecting critical operational functions”. The ordering process is said to be “seamless and fully automated” from placing the order to receiving an invoice.
Laryssa Alexander, President of ECi’s Service Technology Division, stated: “This integration with TonerCycle/InkCycle is a major step forward for our mutual customers. Ink and toner replenishment is crucial to all office equipment dealers and managed services providers, and TonerCycle/InkCycle is a key supplier in the industry.
“As managed services continues to grow, the ability to keep customers supplied in a timely manner will become even more vital, so the ordering and supplying process must be efficient. ECi is determined to help keep our customers on the cutting edge in this rapidly changing industry so they can better serve their customers and continue to profit and grow.”
Brad Roderick, Executive Vice President at TonerCycle/InkCycle, added: “We are excited to offer this integration to our rapidly growing reseller network. This is a technology integration our resellers have been asking for, and as we continue to serve their needs we will continue to add these types of services to assist our resellers in streamlining their businesses.”
ECi reported in March this year that it had been acquired by The Carlyle Group, whilst TonerCycle/InkCycle opened a new distribution centre in the USA in February.
