ECi stated that the integration between the two technologies will allow dealers to “track data at the device and end-user level for superior fleet management and programme development”. The ROI Print Manager software, designed by Print Control Software, provides end-user tracking data, and within FMAudit, clients can now launch Print Manager to “capture user-level workflow details”.
The two companies noted that clients will also be able to capture “traditional device-related data”, allowing for analytics to “deliver effective document management strategies”. In essence, the union between the two technologies will allow dealers to find out the “who, what when and where” of document workflow in an office fleet, and help them develop a “more structured managed document services programme”.
Kevin Tetu, President of FMAudit, stated: “Our customers will have the benefit of accessing a new level of data tied directly to their clients’ end users when using ROI Print Manager. The realisation of a true print strategy has come full circle with device and user management in one.”
Shane Hannan, President of Print Control Software, added: “It’s no longer about 10,000 pages were printed from this machine or that one, it’s about who created the pages, were they relevant to the business, what did they cost and could the documents have been produced faster or cheaper. That’s what ROI and FMAudit are delivering.”
ECi recently announced a tie-up with US remanufacturer West Point Products to help the company build a toner-based MPS programme.
