Des wollenaer reported that the store promotes refilling original cartridges as empty ones end up in landfill which is detrimental to the environment and that the quality of print from refilling is superior to buying cloned cartridges.
Jan Willem van Dorp, Owner of the store, said: “We use ink from the ink largest supplier in Europe. It’s not the cheapest ink, but qualitatively the best.” He claimed that cloned or “compatible cartridges often use Chinese or Japanese ink which can also be seen with the printing of a lesser quality. Black is not black but often anthracite grey.”
“The toners […] we fill ourselves in our office in Zwolle. This is done in a factory that is specially decorated. Here are still met the original empty toners apart, cleaned, new parts fitted, refilled and then tested and packed for shipping. We too have been on site to see if the whole process really meets our quality standards. All colour toners are provided with an additional cleaning roller so that the toner can be printed completely empty without a haze remain[s]ing on the paper. That is something that […] occurs once a regular full or counterfeit toner. ”
