Dell releases new colour and monochrome laser printers

July 3, 2012

New MFP and single function printers designed to increase productivity and deliver “unrivalled” integration, ease-of-use and value.

Dell states that the printers are designed for home offices and SMBs, offering robust connectivity options and low costs per page. All of the newly released models are compatible with the Dell Mobile Print application, enabling users to print from any Android device.

The new portfolio of printers follows Dell’s growth in leadership in the laser printer market, with the company being ranked fifth in the North America laser category in the first quarter of this year, and purportedly being the only vendor in the top five to have increased shipments both quarterly and year-to-year.

Hui Li Lee, General Manager, Global Imaging and Executive Director of Dell commented: “Dell’s imaging solutions offer reliable print management, the ability to digitize content for sharing throughout an enterprise, and integrated document processes for an efficient work environment […] The new laser printers are the first of a series of imaging portfolio updates offering simple, easy-to-use products that deliver unsurpassed user experiences.”

The C3660n, C3760dn and C3765 colour laser printers are said to be easy-to-use and versatile and carry differing prices of $549 (€436) for the C3760n, $649 (€516) for the C3760dn and $1,099 (€874) for the C3765dnf.

The monochrome B1160, B1160w, B1260dn and B1265dnf printers are described as being “perfect” for small businesses looking to enhance productivity and “do more with less”, and are priced at $99 (€79) for the B1160, $119 (€95) for the B1160w, $149 (€118) for the B1260dn and $249 (€198)for the B1265dnf.
