At the end of March, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and new regulations from the UK government CTS Toner Supplies successfully implemented their remote working plan and continues to be fully operational during this challenging time.
Speaking to The Recycler, CTS said it has carried on supplying and supporting their established customer base and are also experiencing new applications from businesses looking for a strong distribution partner, offering both quality cost-effective products and vital services such as EDI to match.
Looking at new opportunities, the recent reports of Spicers and SPOT coming into the spotlight with SPOT stating it was a “difficult period with its business affected by the widespread and unprecedented effects of the pandemic” and the Court appointing liquidators to Spicers Ireland, the UK-based company sees an opportunity to help business customers to maintain their supply chain. CTS Toner supplies maintains a good stock level and is continuing to receive new stocks with containers still arriving regularly.
Steve Clayton, Managing Director CTS Toner Supplies, said: “In these testing times we are working hard to maintain the supply of our extensive product range to our trade only customers.
“Our current stock levels are at near all time highs due to post New Year procurement now arrived, for anticipated increases in business in 2020.“Product type emphasis has moved towards inkjet with dealers supplying home working and schooling.
“There are industry wide shortages of empty cores for remanufactured inkjet, to maintain supply we are making available new eco design solutions with a product offering a reusable printhead with multipack replacement ink cartridges.
“As part of this we welcome any SPOT customers needing to keep their customers furnished with the same source product.”
