The Spanish remanufacturer’s CEO aims to question the ‘razor-and-blade’ model that the OEMs use, and ask if its is “starting to be questioned”.
Martinez’ talk, titled The OEMs’ razor and blade model: time to die? Environmental and social abuse, intends to “see how the mode, which has been in place over the years, is starting to be questioned, both from an environmental and social point of view”. Martinez also aims to question if the model is “starting to change”, or whether it is “still the dominant route to market?”.
