Virtual-Strategy reported that American Communications, an international supplier of telecommunications hardware and services for data, wireless, cable, and wire line networks, announced the completion of its name change to Clover Telecom, after being acquired by Clover Holdings in 2013.
Gordon Smith, President of Clover Telecom, said in 2013: “As part of the Clover Holdings family, an organization with solid financials, global reach and proven, relevant industry expertise, we continue to build a strong company that is setting the pace for the rest of the telecommunications industry. The name change to Clover Telecom reflects this extended global reach and enhanced capabilities to deliver unparalleled value to our clients and partners.”
Also commenting on the acquisition in 2013, Jim Cerkleski, CEO of Clover, stated: “Our acquisition of American Communications clearly demonstrates Clover’s commitment to building an industry-leading telecommunication asset management portfolio.
