The partnership is an “expansion of the existing relationship between the two companies”, and is set to help them “deliver greater value and service to Konica Minolta customers”. Clover is said by the two companies to sell “more remanufactured toner and inkjet cartridges than anyone else in the industry”, and is able to “provide ground shipping to 95 percent of the [USA] in one to two days” from its six “strategically-located” distribution centres.
Sam Errigo, Senior Vice President of Konica Minolta’s Business Intelligence Services, commented: “The partnership with Clover fits our ongoing commitment to provide our customers with the best products and services available to meet their needs. Clover is a leader in the toner industry and provides a perfect complement to our current offerings. Our customers will benefit from an expanded selection of premium quality products and increased availability.”
Eric Martin, President of North American Sales for Clover, stated: “We have had a working relationship with Konica Minolta for many years and we look forward to the new opportunities this strengthened partnership brings. Our unparalleled global footprint and manufacturing and engineering strength are unique in the industry and enable us to offer a diverse line of products while bringing new products to market faster than our competitors.”
The remanufacturer recently created the Clover Imaging Group, with MSE, West Point Products, OPRA and other brands now all coming under “one marketing umbrella”.
