The programme has been devised as “in recent years, dealers have experienced a great deal of disruption in their business due to mass de-authorisation campaigns, onerous requirements, and more recently, programmes targeting high-margin aftermarket business in an attempt to wrest share away from remanufactured products”. CIG added that “we want to help dealers take back control of their business”, with GreenSweep “the vehicle to do that”.
The programme “offers all CIG dealers a five to 10 percent rebate over and above any pre-existing programme for approved OEM conversion opportunities for all CIG manufactured ink and toner products”. The rebate will “vary depending on product mix and participation in CIG core collection programmes”, the remanufacturer added, noting that more information can be found out through its sales representatives or at www.cloverimaging.com/greensweep.
Luke Goldberg, Executive Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing for CIG, commented: “With the GreenSweep programme, we are empowering our partners to proactively take the fight to OEMs whose programmes are impacting dealer choice and margins.
“OEM conversion is the way forward for our customers as a vehicle for growth, and given our small share of a nearly $80 billion (€71.4 billion) consumables market, we know that growth potential is massive and attainable with programmes like GreenSweep, quality products, partnerships, and solutions, which are all integral elements of the Clover Imaging Group (CIG).”
