In a press release, the company stated that the “customised promotional videos” for dealers can be used to “educate end users and enhance their digital marketing outreach”, with video a “key component to the digital marketing mix for all businesses”. CIG (Clover Imaging Group) also cited research by Syndacast.com, which found that “52 percent of marketing professionals worldwide name video as the type of content with the best ROI (return on investment)”.
The videos form part of CIG’s Marketing Platform 2.0, with each of them “focused on educating end users about imaging supplies and managed print services”, and each can be custom-branded and used on dealer websites, “providing high impact promotional and educational materials to their customers, the end users”. The platform includes “centralised marketing tools for dealers”, and so far there are six videos, with three recently added, which can be viewed here.
The newest three focus on MPS for finance, healthcare and legal markets, and form part of CIG’s Empower dealer platform, which “enables dealers to connect with their customers and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns quickly and with minimal time and effort”. CIG noted that video “drives customer engagement on the internet, and many companies simply do not have the time and money to invest in premium online video content”.
As a result, it listened to “dealers’ concerns about running their businesses”, with the marketing solutions aiming to “ensure a successful partnership for all involved”. CIG also referred to further Syndacast.com research, which found that “74 percent of all internet traffic in 2017 will be video”, so if “you have a website and are not utilising videos for engagement and customer conversions, then you are missing out on your share of the online market”.
