Lancashire Telegraph reported that the Post Office, based in The Circus in Darwen, has teamed up with Cartridge World to “save computer users time and money” in terms of cartridge refilling.
The cartridge refill service will operate through customers dropping off printer cartridges at the Post Office for refilling, with Cartridge World refilling the cartridges for the Post Office for collection by the customer the following day.
A spokesman for the Post Office stated: “I firmly believe customers will embrace the new service, whether to buy a printer cartridge off the shelf or helping our environment by using the printer cartridge refill service, which will also save them money.
“Allowing our customers to simply drop their printer cartridges off at the store for refilling then pick them up the following day, is a great service.”
