Cartridge World offers free résumé printing for college students

May 30, 2012

600 stores in the US and Canada will offer free printing service to job-seeking college graduates.

To support the millions of college students entering the job market, Cartridge World stores in North America are offering free résumé printing throughout June.

Students will be allowed to print 15 to 25 copies of their résumé at Cartridge World stores at no cost in a bid to help them in a struggling job market. Cartridge World claims that despite the increase in unemployment over the last few years, unemployment rates are now said to be decreasing, with the National Association of Colleges and Employers Job Outlook stating that employers plant to hire nearly 10 percent more new college graduates in 2012 than they did last year.  However, finding a job can still be a challenge.

“Cartridge World owners understand how hard it is to land your first job out of college,” commented Frank Case, President of Cartridge World North America, adding: “The competition is stiff. Nearly 14 million Americans and Canadians are unemployed. So our 600 stores in the U.S. and Canada are here to help new college graduates. Whether they are unemployed or working in a coffee shop, we’re offering free résumé printing for local customers.”

Case continued: “Our stores are locally owned. So we understand the value of networking with and supporting the local chamber of commerce and business organizations. ‘Keeping it local’ is a great place for college graduates to start their job search.”

New college graduates can receive free printing of their résumé, which must be no more than two pages in length and printed in one colour, by visiting a local participating Cartridge World store in June with the résumé data on a USB flash drive.
