Cartridge World CEO addresses partners

In a letter to Cartridge World partners, Global CEO Edwin Lui addressed the company’s strategy during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Lui told Cartridge World partners that while the general business activities have slowed down, many organizations including the government offices, hospitals and clinics, grocery stores and supermarkets and companies in the utilities sector are still working tirelessly to provide support essential to people and their communities and this includes many of our Cartridge World franchisees who have changed their logistics, transportation, supply chain and order fulfilment processes to service these b2b customers as well as the many workers and students who are forced to work and study from home.
Talking about opportunities, Lui said that Cartridge World franchises are ideally placed for home deliveries which are essential in these unprecedented times.
Lui added: “Here at Cartridge World Corporate, all staff including myself and your regional managers will continue to work with no leave to be taken. We will monitor the impact of the development of the COVID-19 outbreak and the announcement from WHO. We will evaluate the influence on the demand and supply of products especially the CW branded consumables with CWGPC and other approved suppliers and commit to provide all reasonable support to our partners.”
He reassured partners by writing: “My time and mind are now wholly focused on how Cartridge World corporate and our team can best play our role. I want you to know we will continue to do our part, and we will not stop looking for new ways to assist.
“In the last week, I have been contacted by some of international partners in relation to the supply of face masks, COVID-19 tester kits and medical goggles etc. Though these products especially masks remain in short supply globally, we have successfully identified some suppliers who claim to have capacity to supply us overseas which we are maintaining contact with them. If you or your clients have a need for these products, please reach out to your regional manager at CW Corporate.
“While we cannot guarantee the supply availability, we will do our best to assist. There is no operation manual for how to feel, or what to do at a time like this and no doubt, it is overwhelming and challenging for many during this unprecedented time.”
