The OEM is taking an army of technicians to assist USA teams.
The 70 technician experts are providing a service to the photographers reporting on the games in Rio, Shutterbug reported and will loan or repair any equipment as required. DSLR cameras will be used in plenty by different organisations sent to report on the games, and the Associated Press and Reuters will only be using Canon photographic equipment. Getty images have taken $144,000 (€129,211) of Canon cameras and lenses to Rio.
