Canon requests more removals

Canon requests removal of toner cartridges offered by Euphorio from Amazon.com, Daniel Kunze via Amazon Italy and Spain and taiyuanshi jiancaopingqu lirenfangfuzhuangdian via Amazon Italy, Spain, Germany and UK.
Canon Inc. announced the filing of an infringement report with Amazon.com seeking removal of Amazon.com listings for certain toner cartridges sold by Euphorio for use in HP laser beam printers.
Canon’s infringement report alleged that certain model CF210X, CF210A, CF211A, CF212A and CF213A toner cartridges sold by Euphorio via Amazon.com infringed Canon’s U.S. Patent No. 8,588,646. Canon requested that Amazon remove Euphorio’s listings for those products, namely, Euphorio’s listings with Amazon Standard Identification Numbers (“ASINs”) B081DS2CPR, B0816JJCPW, B081DRXLR7, B0816KLDRX, B0816JVH6L, B0816KK5M2, B0816JJ865, B0816K83M4, B0816JQHFV, B081DS4K4Z, B0816KJXM4, B081DS8NLF, B0816K7P5P, B0816JMH2P, B081DS6WBJ, B0816K91XZ, B0816JKW8W, B081DS317V, B0816K4MYJ, B081DS6PKQ, B0816K3VTT, B0816JYW3S, B081DRS67P, B0816KLRFN, B081DY6LRX, B081DQCT29, B0816JX97L, B0816JW8PW, B081DS2GDM and B0816JYNLZ.
At the time of this announcement, the above-identified Euphorio’s listings were no longer available on Amazon.com.
Canon also announced that it filed Report Infringement Forms with Amazon.it and Amazon.es based on the alleged use of claims 1 and 2 of the Italian and Spanish portions of Canon’s European Patent EP 1 977 289 (“EP ‘289”) regarding certain models of toner cartridges offered by Daniel Kunze under the following ASINs (Amazon Standard Identification Numbers).

Afterwards, Amazon took down the respective products.
These products are compatible with the OEM HP cartridge models and provide inter alia a non-OEM housing and a non-OEM force receiving device according to claim 1 of EP ‘289. Furthermore, they comprise an elastic portion according to claim 2 of EP ‘289.
The OEM also announced that the company filed Report Infringement Forms with Amazon.de, Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.it and Amazon.es based on the alleged use of claims 1 and 2 of the Germany, UK, Italian and Spanish portions of Canon’s European Patent EP 1 977 289 (“EP ‘289”) regarding certain models of toner cartridges offered by taiyuanshi jiancaopingqu lirenfangfuzhuangdian under the following ASINs (Amazon Standard Identification Numbers).
