The OEM released three PIXMA G-series printers through Lulu Saudi Hypermarkets.

Saudi Gazette reported on the launch of the PIXMA G1400, 2400 and 3400 machines in Saudi Arabia, with the machines to be sold through the Lulu Saudi Hypermarkets outlets. The machines can print up to 7,000 colour and 6,000 black pages from “a single set of ink bottles”, and utilise a CISS (continuous ink supply system) alongside refillable ink tanks for lower cost printing.

The G1400 is a single-function printer, while the 2400 and 3400 are AIOs, and all three utilise Canon’s FINE printhead system that includes “technology that stops air penetrating the ink feeding tubes, ensuring reliability and stability when printing in high volumes”. All three also offer print resolutions of 4,800 x 1,200dpi, pigment black and dye colour inks, wireless connectivity, compatibility with Canon’s new PRINT app, cloud printing and social network connectivity.

The devices were launched by Canon official and Lulu Hypermarkets’ senior management at a store in Riyadh’s Avenue Mall, with Saleem VK, the retailer’s Regional Director, commenting that “all models of Canon are available in all LuLu outlets in the Kingdom”.
