Canon’s imageRUNNER ADVANCE 4500

Canon has released its third generation imageRUNNER Advance series in India, which is hoped to revolutionise printing for both SMEs and start-ups.

According to GadgetDiary, this series “offers wholesome multi-function devices that aim to enhance the productivity and document ecosystem of your organisation.”

To do this, they combine features such as mobile printing, remote fax and network storage, enabling them to “deliver high quality output without losing time and without compromising on the simplicity of user experience.” All models also come with 3GB of memory, a 250GB hard drive that can be expanded to 1TB, and Canon Dual Custom Processor.

This 3rd-generation imageRUNNER Advance series is made using 100 percent recycled plastic and both its workflow management and its parts have been “optimised for energy conservation.”

According to the article, the series is thought to be ideal for SMEs and start-ups due to several factors.

Ease of operation

The printers’ large touch-screen panels help save time and reduce printing expenses, as they enable consumers to read and modify documents with ease and efficiency.

Customisable

Canon’s new printer series are very easy to customise, allowing different users to alter settings according to their preferences, including languages.

Helpful security feature

When you have used the printer to make a copy of an original document, the printer reminds you to collect the original once the process has been completed, which prevents the document from being left behind and potentially falling into the wrong hands.

Mobile printing support

Mobile printing is available on these printers via Canon’s PRINT Business App, which allows you to print remotely from any location at any time.

Additional features of these 3rd generation imageRUNNER printers include an ‘Intelligent Recovery’ function, Staple on Demand, Multi-sheet detection and Skip Blank Originals. Their simplicity of operation and cost effectiveness is thought to be “especially appealing to SMEs and start-ups.”
