Canon’s European subsidiary has launched a new collection of PIXMA G refillable ink tank printers.

Canon Europe has announced the launch of its new range of refillable ink tank printers, which are the “successor models” to its current PIXMA G series.

The PIXMA G devices are designed to be high yield, compact and easy to use, making them ideal for consumers who want high volume, low cost per page printers, for use at home, in home offices, or small businesses.

The new range of printers consists of the PIXMA G1510, designed for high volume printing at low cost, the PIXMA G2510, a high-yield MFP with added copying and scanning, the PIXMA G3510, a high-yield multifunction 3-in-1 printer with WiFi connectivity and other benefits, and the PIXMA G4510, a 4-in-1 printer with 20 sheet Automatic Document Feeder and wireless connectivity.

Key features of these new devices include their high page yield, which allows users to print up to 6,000 pages (black) or up to 7,000 pages (colour). They also include an Auto Power ON/OFF setting, which helps save energy when the printer is not being used, and they offer high quality prints with “genuine black pigment ink” and dye colour inks, allowing them to produce borderless photos of up to A4 size.

The new series has been built “with productivity and design at its forefront”, featuring front facing ink tanks and ink bottles that have been specially designed to reduce spillage and leaks.

They are simple and straightforward to set up and use. The PIXMA G2510 and G3510 come with a new 1.2” mono segment LCD screen, while the PIXMA G4510 has a 2 line segment mono LCD.

With the FINE print head system, the new printers have been designed to be durable and produce high volume printing.

When it comes to connectivity, the G4510 and G3510 come with WiFi technology, allowing users to print wirelessly via a laptop/PC device or smart device. Users can print, scan and copy using the Canon PRINT app, as well as accessing the PIXMA Cloud Link so photos and documents can be printed remotely from Facebook, GoogleDrive, Dropbox and more.

Both devices are also compatible with Mopria on Android, and the PIXMA G4510 is compatible with Apple AirPrint.

PIXMA G4510 and PIXMA G3510 allow users to simultaneously handle both conventional Wi-Fi connection via a router and without access to a Wi-Fi router using Wireless Direct or Access Point Mode, making connecting a smart device to the printer simple.
