The Cannata Report, the intelligence resource for business technology and imaging solutions resellers, will host its Annual Awards & Charities Dinner on 8 November 2018.

The event will aid Tackle Kids Cancer, a philanthropic program benefitting the Children’s Cancer Institute at Hackensack Meridian Health Hackensack University Medical Centre. Returning as sponsors for the annual fundraiser being held again this year at The Madison Hotel in Morristown, NJ, are Hytec Dealer Services and PSIGEN Software, Inc.

Heralded for serving as the inspiration behind the philanthropic spirit in the imaging industry, the Cannata Dinner has collectively raised over $2.2 million (€1.7 million) for a number of charities nationwide. This year marks the third year in a row in which proceeds from the event will benefit Hackensack Meridian Health Hackensack University Medical Centre, distinguished for both patient care and ground-breaking clinical research. To date, the Cannata Dinner has contributed over a half million dollars to Hackensack University Medical Centre.

In a joint statement, Frank G. Cannata, president and CEO, and CJ Cannata, EVP and publisher said, “Throughout the history of our Annual Awards & Charities Dinner, 100 percent of the funds raised have gone directly to our charity partners, a distinction we are incredibly proud of. With generous support from amazing sponsors in recent years, we have been able to significantly expand the scale and scope of our event while continuing to give all proceeds to charity. This year, we are thrilled to once again have Hytec Dealer Services and PSIGEN Software as sponsors. We appreciate their active, on-going support and the huge commitment they have made to us and the Cannata Dinner.”

“Hytec Dealer Services is greatly privileged to sponsor The Cannata Report’s 33rd Annual Awards & Charities Dinner with proceeds going to Tackle Kids Cancer.  The Cannata organisation is an amazing ambassador for our great industry; and this exciting event is for a very deserving cause.  Having served the imaging industry for over 30 years, Hytec is honoured to be a part of this premier industry event,” said Eric J. Auman, President & CEO, Hytec Dealer Services, Inc.

“PSIGEN Software is proud to once again sponsor The Cannata Report’s Annual Awards & Charities Dinner. As we learned last year, the dinner is not only a flawless, celebratory event, but also a special time to gather in person to form new relationships and reconnect with familiar ones. Even more importantly, it is an opportunity for leaders in our industry to come together to champion a worthy cause. We are so happy to be able to support Tackle Kids Cancer through this year’s Cannata Dinner,” said Victoria Hensley, COO of PSIGEN Software, Inc.

Winners of The Cannata Report’s Annual Awards known as the Frank Awards recognise business leaders from the manufacturer, financing, and software and services segments of the imaging industry. The Cannata Report’s Annual Dealer Survey that provides in-depth analysis and trend data of the independent dealer channel determines the winners of the Frank Awards. This year, The Cannata Report will give a Lifetime Achievement Award to Tom Johnson, founder and former chairman and CEO of Global Imaging Systems. Johnson is widely recognised throughout the office equipment industry as a visionary for creating “the Johnson model,” a benchmarking model for acquiring and integrating businesses.

Immediately following The Cannata Report ‘s 33rd Annual Awards and Charities Dinner will be an official after party sponsored by MWA Intelligence. On Friday, November 9, The Cannata Report will celebrate its Women Influencers franchise exclusively presented by AMETEK ESP with the Third Annual Women Influencers Brunch honouring top female executives in the industry. Joining AMETEK ESP to sponsor the brunch this year are Supplies Network and Electronics for Imaging, Inc. Details for the after party and the brunch, including additional sponsors, will be announced as details are confirmed.

Sharp Electronics Corporation returns to produce the Frank Awards multimedia presentations as A/V sponsor. All events and activities associated with The Cannata Report’s Annual Awards & Charities Dinner will be held at The Madison Hotel.
