Paperworld’s organisers, Messe Frankfurt, have announced the “attractive programme to promote business relationships”, with the business matchmaking service set to “bring together demand and supply from the trade and industry” and a business lounge offering “exclusive office facilities”. The matchmaking programme aims to “efficiently bring together demand and supply”, while the lounge will offer “an innovative opportunity to take part in the fair” for smaller companies.
Visitor demand for the show, taking place in Hall 6.0 at the Messe Frankfurt showgrounds, “remains high”, and the matchmaking service will give exhibitors “the chance to gain new customers” and give visitors “the opportunity to find valuable new suppliers”. Both groups can “make targeted contacts and initiate potential business relationships even before the fair begins” by entering product information and interests on an online platform on the Remanexpo website, to go live in November.
The information provided will allow sets of attendees “with the potential to become business partners” to be “brought together by a trained team and a computer-aided programme”. Appointments will be arranged by the computer-aided tool by “taking account of the needs of both sides”, and allowing attendees to “make the best possible use of their time at the fair”.
The business lounge meanwhile is aimed at businesses “that want to use Paperworld […] without occupying a large exhibition stand”, with “smart office accommodation” offered “where they can hold discussions”. An “expert visitor service”, alongside the matchmaking programme, will help companies “benefit” from the opportunity, and the lounge will be located within Hall 6.0, so visitors “can move quickly and easily between meetings” in the lounge and exhibitors’ booths.
For the first year, the matchmaking service is “free of charge for all participants” at Remanexpo, and The Recycler’s REMCON seminar programme and The Recycler Awards will both be returning for the 2016 event. The awards will again cover ‘Remanufacturer of the Year’, ‘Supplier of the Year’, ‘Innovation of the Year’, ‘Customer Service of the Year’ and ‘Rising Star of the Year’.
Industry companies that have already confirmed they will exhibit at the 2016 event include: Delacamp; OCP; wta Carsten Weser; Data Direct; I.R. Italiana Riprografia; Katun; Biuromax; 3T Supplies; Apex Microelectronics; and General Plastic Industrial Co., Ltd. The Recycler will be attending and reporting from the show throughout, and you can find out more information about the new services in issue 274, which will be published on 20 August.
Michael Reichold, Director of Paperworld, stated: “The business matchmaking programme is distinguished by simplicity and highly effective results. Initial discussions in the Remanexpo sector were characterised by a very positive echo. Many exhibitors are interested and looking forward to a programme that promotes business relationships. We expect to continue on this successful course and are very pleased to say that many renowned national and international companies have already signed up as Remanexpo exhibitors in 2016.”
