BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Due to continued and rapid expansion, we are looking for Business Development Managers to take on the responsibility of growing our dealer and distribution channel. We are specifically looking to grow our team in Poland, Italy and Germany. Reporting into the General Sales Manager, you will be responsible for building profitable and sustainable sales of Static Control laser and inkjet cartridge products to maintain the Company’s position as the industry’s leader in the supply of current and future technology and provider of the highest quality of service to customers. Some of the main responsibilities of the role include:

  • Ensuring sales are developed within the set channel by adopting management and sales techniques to suit the customer base, culture and expectations whilst ensuring business processes and priorities are being followed
  • Work with the sales management to develop opportunities, and help to provide sales tools to maximise those opportunities. You will be the ambassador and expert within the dealer and distribution channel, and will assist colleagues and customers with any issues relating to customer service, technical or payment issues
  • Follow and implement strategic sales development plans for channel / customer. Provide detail, accurate and timely analysis of performance, forecasts and projections which should be reviewed regularly
  • Utilise a range of communication methods to achieve sales goals, including the Company’s product and promotional literature, telephone and email contact, direct face-to-face meetings and webinars

To be considered for the role you will have previous experience, and proven success, in sales and account management and direct selling, with ability to grow and develop new business while maintaining existing sales. To be considered for one of the positions above you will need to speak English and either German or Polish. An expert in the office products industry, you will demonstrate commercial acumen with an ability to understand business, the industry and the operational and economic context in which the customer operates. Selling a technical product will require a technical appreciation and the ability to understand the functionality of products. This role will be based from either our headquarters in Reading, or from a home-office in Europe.
