OEM releases new monochrome laser printers and multi-function centres (MFCs) as it increases its market share.

Arab News and reported that Brother has launched a new range of printers and MFCs – the HL-1110, DCP-1510, MFC-1810 and MFC-1815, in the Middle East to meet the demands of the region’s consumers and SMBs looking for reliability, high quality and cost effective prints.

According to A.P. Barretto, General Manager of Canar Office Systems in Alkhobar, “the demand for Brother printers has been on the rise in the Kingdom [of Saudia Arabia] and Brother’s market share is increasing year by year”; with his company distributing Brother products and noticing that “the sale is going up”.

Ibrahim Al-Janahi, Deputy CEO at Jafza, in Dubai, commented on the growing market presence of Brother and other OEMs in the region: “There are a myriad of opportunities for both local and global companies who have confidently invested in the emirate. In fact, industry leaders like Brother International are enjoying strong market presence from their operations here in Dubai, which also extends to the rest of the Middle East region. We congratulate Brother International on the release of the latest models and also for the introduction of their new logo – a fitting tribute to the company’s
century-wide commitment towards excellence in product and service.”

Meanwhile, Daisuke Matsunaga, Consul General of Japan, said that the OEM’s reputation has helped it to gain market share in the region: “Brother International is regarded as one of the early companies that have helped put Japanese technology and insight into the global frontline markets. “The group’s steadfast commitment in developing products that are not only useful but also convenient and easy to use have afforded them a presence in every household all over the world. We are proud of this company – a true embodiment of Japanese excellence.”
