Company based in Ruabon, North Wales is visited by MP after recycling over 1.5 million cartridges.
News North Wales reports that Susan Elan Jones, MP for Clwyd South in Wales, visited Brother Industries UK Ltd’s Ruabon cartridge recycling plant to highlight the work it has been doing to help protect the environment.
According to the article, the company has recycled over 1.5 million toner cartridges at the plant, based on the Vauxhall Industrial Estate just outside the village of Ruabon, and has collected more than 300,000 cartridges over the past year through its free returns postal scheme for used printer cartridges.
Commenting on the achievement, Jones said: “At a time when we need more environmental industries and more recycling, I think Brother Industries deserves huge credit for its work.”
