Gerwald van der Gijp, Vice President and General Manager of Armor Office Printing, will take part in a ‘Meet the CEO’ session in Lisbon.
Van der Gijp, who joined Armor after a career at HP Inc last year, will share “his insights on the office imaging sector” in the Meet the CEO session at the event next week. The Recycler previously announced that the 2016 Focus on Europe conference will take place on 16 and 17 June at the Holiday Inn Lisbon Continental in Lisbon, Portugal. The speaker programme for the event is live on our events website here, and maps out the plans for the two days of presentations and talks, as well as chances to meet sponsors, an ETIRA board meeting and AGM, and more.
The first day will start at 9am, with the ETIRA meetings, afternoon coffees and delegate registrations following. The conference proper opens with Chair Peter Mayhew at 3.30pm, with talks that afternoon from Static Control’s Javier Gesualdo, LVL’s Philippe Guenin and Consuprint’s Javier Martinez, concluding with the session held by van der Gijp.
After this, subject to approval, a new industry CEO will be revealed to attendees, before a chance to meet all of the sponsors and then a cocktail reception and networking dinner. The second day’s programme begins at 9am, with talks from InfoTrends’ Andrew Carroll, Uninet Imaging’s Zoltan Matyas, Hubei Dinglong’s Ian Copsey, Lexmark’s Maxime Furkel, ECS’ Adrian Lovatt and Panovo’s Michael Pantel. The conference will close at 2pm on the Friday afternoon.
Peter Mayhew, Director and Senior Analyst with Lightwords Imaging, will be chairing the event, and sponsors have also been announced for the conference, with Static Control the headline sponsor, Biuromax and Embatex the co-sponsors, and Armor the junior sponsor. You can access our online registration for Focus on Europe 2016 here, and also view our recently-launched events website, which features a call for papers, registration information and sponsorship details for the event.
Our events website – live.therecycler.com – includes all the relevant information you need to know, including details about sponsoring the event and the call for papers, and will be updated as speakers are confirmed. The conference is dedicated to the European remanufacturing industry, with companies and experts from across the continent attending to network, discuss industry trends and talk about the major issues facing remanufacturers in Europe at this time.
The event is set to follow the same structure as previous conferences, with an afternoon’s worth of talks and a cocktail evening and dinner on the Thursday, and a half day of seminars on the Friday.
