Northamber will be the remanufacturer’s authorised distributor for OWA remanufactured cartridges.
Northamber confirmed that it was “pleased to announce” it had become an authorised distributor for Armor’s remanufactured OWA-brand toner cartridges, with Northamber having a “long history of success in print”. The company noted that “working with Armor will complement their existing offerings”, as well as “reinforce Northamber as the destination for SMB resellers looking for unparalleled print expertise”.
Armor’s position as a “world leader in thermal transfer business ribbons”, as well as bring the “leading European producer of inkjet cartridges and the leading seller of remanufactured laser cartridges in France” lead Northamber to believe “their resellers will benefit from access” to Armor’s products through the “common opportunity”.
The company added that it sees the partnership “as a significant opportunity in bringing a widely-recognised brand to its customer base”, and is “looking forward to working closely together in the future and growing this relationship”. Armor was also said to have “express[ed] its satisfaction” with the partnership.
Alex Phillips, Director of Strategy at Northamber, commented: “Northamber are very excited to add Armor to our already strong print portfolio, this truly reinforces our position as the go-to destination for printers in the UK. Armor perfectly complements our existing hardware line-up, allowing us to help resellers to offer the perfect print and consumables solutions for all their end user needs.”
Bee Sanghera, UK IT Channel Manager for Armor, commented: “As Armor looks to expand its presence in the UK market, developing a strategic partnership with a leading distributor such as Northamber was a simple decision to make. We feel Northamber’s legacy and experience allows them to help us increase our breadth in the UK, and we are delighted to be partnering with them.”
