Armor launches remanufactured HP Inc cartridges

October 19, 2016

armorhpink1The remanufacturer has released four models to replace a range of the OEM’s inkjet cartridges.

The company stated that “expertise and innovation are the bywords” for its products, which are “backed by a dynamic research and development department” and combine “unique skills in ink formulation, plastic injection and electronics with mastery of remanufacturing techniques”. The new releases, in turn, include remanufactured cartridges to replace 62XL, 302 XL, 934XL and 935XL originals.

The 62XL cartridges are used in “14 printer models from the Envy and OfficeJet ranges”, and are “aimed at the consumer and small business market”, with Armor releasing the cartridges in August and noting they “strengthen the range of remanufactured solutions” it offers. The cartridges are available in cases and blister packs and reportedly offer savings “of up to 40 percent compared with original consumables in terms of cost per page”.

Armor adds that the price per page is calculated in accordance with ISO/IEC 24711 and 24712 standards. And that the recommended retail price for the black cartridge is €21.13 ($23.17), while the colours’ recommended retail price is €23.36 ($25.62). The 302XL meanwhile has been released “just a year after the introduction” of the original, with the remanufactured cartridge “compatible with 10 printer models”.

The company adds that “responsiveness and quality are two criteria” it “consistently applies”, and the XL cartridge can “save up to 60 percent compared with the original brand”. The cartridges are available in individual cases and blister packs as well as multipacks of four cartridges, with recommended retail prices of €18.49 ($20.28) for the black and €20.49 ($22.47) for the colours.

Next, the 935XL cartridges replace the 934 and 935XL originals used in the OfficeJet Pro 6230, 6830, 6830c and 6820 machines, with Armor noting that the releases “supplement the range of cartridges compatible” with these devices. The cartridges are again available in individual boxes and blister packs, and are “equipped with a new chip to enable ink level management”, with Armor noting that despite HP Inc’s recent firmware update, the cartridges “operate perfectly well”.

The recommended retail price for the black 934XL and colour 935XL are, respectively, €16.33 ($17.91) and €10.45 ($11.46), with the multipack costing €42.90 ($47.05). Armor noted that its cartridges are a “viable alternative to printer brands”, and that its products cover “90 percent of all European printers”, with it having “always invested in R&D and in its production facilities to guarantee, confirm and prove the performance of its printing solutions”.
