Panel discussion of the production and sale of printer cartridges to be hosted in Las Vegas.
The Imaging Supplies Coalition (ISC) has chosen the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada for the ISC 2012 Anti Counterfeiting Conference on 19-21 August. A number of imaging industry professionals are said to be in attendance, with numbers claimed as likely to reach between 80 to 90. Registration is now open for this conference and early bird prices still apply until 14 June.
Topics of the discussion will include the ITC General Exclusion Laws, and their correct enforcement. Case studies demonstrating the effective application of technology to combat the production and sale of counterfeit cartridges and the priorities regarding anti-counterfeiting of a number of companies including the National IPR Centre, the IACC and the US Chamber of Commerce will also be discussed.
The ISC is an alliance of manufacturers supplying original and consumable supplies and equipment to the imaging industry, including OEMs Brother, Lexmark, and HP among others. Their aim is to prevent illegal activities in the imaging supplies industry with the incentive being to protect their customers.
