May 8, 2017

The Managed Service Provider will be responsible for the supply of MFPs, MPS and Document solutions for the largest “local authority purchasing group in the UK”.

Annodata said in a press release that it has been retained for a second year accredited to the public sector through CBC which is the largest “local authority purchasing group in the UK” and takes its lead from KCS Professional Services. This position is only given when vendors are able to “demonstrate that their devices and solutions deliver the best value, are reliable and meet stringent environment responsibility guidelines”.

The company has been placed on Lot 1 which if for the delivery of MFPs which includes A4 and A4/3 networked and stand alone photocopiers and printers with MPS. Annodata has also been placed on Lot 5 which covers MPS.

Rod Tonna-Barthet, CEO, Annodata, said in a statement: “We have a rich history of serving the public sector and have helped countless organisations navigate a safe and secure path to cost reduction and efficiency gains. We recognise that supporting innovation in the public sector is more crucial than ever with staff requiring an increasing amount of flexibility, convenience and an on-demand provision. When we consider that the printed page is still an integral part of the day-to-day functions of public sector organisations, it’s vital that these companies are able to procure the most suitable solutions and products so they can achieve the visibility, transparency and control needed to boost their overall efficiency.

“We are delighted to have been awarded a position on the Central Buying Consortium framework – a placement that reaffirms our commitment to the public sector and will enable us to continue to act as a trusted advisor to organisations in this sector. Achieving this place will make it much more straightforward for the public sector to engage with us and will help to eliminate the time, cost and pain from local authority purchasing,”

Tarryn Kerr, Head of Professional Services at KCS, said: “We are delighted to have appointed Annodata to our national framework and look forward to working with Rod and his team over the next 4-years to support the public sector and help with the challenges ahead.”
